Fine Art since 1996

Joshua and Cynthia Ivey Abitz have been creating art since their partnership began in 1996.

Here you can sample and purchase their photography - hand printed silver gelatin prints - and Cynthia's oil paintings.

Ivey Abitz work encompasses portraits, documentary, landscape, still life, and more.

Much of their art is collaborative, such as

    • The book, Mackinac Island: Creations (2002)

    • The Ivey Abitz Gallery of Fine Art (2002-2005)

    • Their wedding documentary studies (1996-2006).

But their individual work is also celebrated here, beginning with Josh's gas mask series and Cynthia's paintings.

Ivey Abitz art has taken Josh and Cynthia from their midwest roots to Europe, Canada, Mexico, and back across the continental U.S. It led them to a life on a small resort island in 2001, and then on to a life in New York City in 2008.

In addition to the visual art on this website, the couple created IveyAbitz.com which exhibits garment design by Cynthia.
